About The Position

The Area Coordinator oversees HCBS programming within an assigned service area, ensuring person-centered services align with state regulations, funding requirements, and company policies. This role provides leadership to supervisors and staff, coordinates client services, and partners with families, agencies, and internal departments to promote quality outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities or Associate's degree with 4+ years of related experience
Prior supervisory experience required
Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and travel up to 25%
CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

Responsibilities

Coordinate client intake, orientation, and ongoing services
Develop, implement, and monitor Person-Centered Service Plans (PCSPs)
Supervise and support HCBS Supervisors and staff in collaboration with Human Resources
Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and funding standards
Oversee documentation, funding authorizations, client accounts, and medication records
Serve as liaison with families, providers, and community resources
Participate in leadership meetings, on-call rotation, and emergency response
