About The Position

The Area Community Coordinator - Canada East is an execution-focused role responsible for delivering community, marketing, and event initiatives across Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic provinces. Working under the guidance of the Senior Area Manager, Community - Canada, the Coordinator supports program and event execution by being present on-site in communities. This role requires significant travel within priority markets in the Eastern area to support store teams, community hubs, and key activations. Priority markets include Toronto, Montreal and surrounding mountain towns. Please note: Fluency in French is a requirement for this role. This role can be hired remote. Business operations occur on PST or EST time zone.

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or related fields
  • You have 1+ years of experience in event execution, community engagement, marketing activations, or a related field
  • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities
  • You are hands-on, proactive, and comfortable with logistics and event delivery
  • You are able to work under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • You have flexibility to travel extensively within Eastern Canada, including evenings and weekends
  • You have a valid driver’s license required
  • You have a passion for the outdoors, sustainability, and the Arc’teryx ethos

Responsibilities

  • Executing community events, programs, and activations across Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada as directed by the Senior Area Manager, Community and in partnership with Senior Area Community Specialist
  • Providing on-the-ground support for field marketing activations, trade marketing initiatives, endemic sponsored events, new store openings, and academy light experiences
  • Working closely with local store teams and community hubs to bring community engagement plans to life
  • Coordinating event logistics on-site, including setup, execution, vendor coordination, and wrap-up
  • Acting as a regional brand ambassador, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for community members
  • Capturing event outcomes, participation data, and operational insights to share with the Senior Area Manager, Community and Senior Area Community Specialist
  • Ensuring consistent delivery in alignment with national standards, while adapting to local community needs
  • Travelling frequently throughout Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic provinces to support regional events and activations
