About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Area Business Specialist. In this role, you will achieve territory sales goals by promoting products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within the assigned geography. Your expertise will be crucial in educating customers on the appropriate use and characteristics of products, while ensuring high levels of visibility and customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers, making a significant impact in the market.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required – 2+ years of experience promoting rare disease products.
  • 5-7+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • A valid, US State-issued driver’s license is required.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and rare disease products.
  • Proven record of sustained high sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively promote and educate Specialty physicians on the use of rare disease products.
  • Meet territory product sales goals while adhering to ethical sales practices and compliance guidelines.
  • Execute company-approved Product Marketing plans and territory business plan activities.
  • Support targeted customers and accounts with sales materials and promotional activities.
  • Manage and maintain all company equipment and promotional materials according to compliance guidelines.
  • Ensure optimum execution of territory sales strategy using business plans and sales reports.
  • Attend company-sponsored sales and medical-related meetings.
  • Achieve both territory product sales goals and sales activity goals through defined metrics.
  • Pursue continuous learning and professional sales development.
