The candidate in this role will be required to travel 50%+ of the time through their assigned region.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in retail asset protection or security management.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage people, projects, and time effectively.
  • Familiarity with safety and security regulations.
  • Experience with investigative techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheets, Tableau, or similar tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, loss prevention, asset protection, or equivalent experience (including military service).
  • Wicklander-Zulawski certification preferred.
  • Experience with CCTV, Security, and alarm systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be the security champion for 15+ retail locations, driving awareness, training, and strategy.
  • Travel across your region (50%) to support teams and ensure safety protocols are in place.
  • Deliver engaging security training sessions that prepare teams for real-world scenarios.
  • Respond to emergencies and critical incidents, during business hours and beyond.
  • Lead investigations into theft, fraud, and integrity issues, working closely with law enforcement and internal teams.
  • Oversee security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) and ensure they meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including security guards and system providers, keeping service quality and budgets in check.
  • Monitor guard performance and adjust strategies to meet evolving needs.
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Keep policies sharp and enforce procedures that align with laws and regulations.
