Archival Processor What you’ll do in this position Arrangement and Preservation: Follow established processing plans developed by curators to organize, house, and arrange archival materials, identify preservation issues and other obstacles in processing projects. Finding Aids: Create descriptions of archival materials according to archival theory and national and departmental standards, perform subject analysis and agent creation in finding aids, and remediating description to prepare materials for digitization. Project management: Develop relationships with curators and other stakeholders, acting as project manager in archival processing and reprocessing workflows. Collaborate across multiple divisions to delegate, resolve issues, review work, and meet deadlines. Professional growth: At BYU, we value continuous learning.
