We are seeking a Staff Designer to join our growing Boca Raton, FL team. H2M’s Private Sector Architecture group offers recent graduates the opportunity to work on real‑world residential, commercial, and mixed‑use projects that shape Florida’s rapidly growing communities. With a collaborative, mentorship‑driven culture and deep experience in private development markets, our team blends creativity and practical design to deliver sustainable, client‑focused solutions Staff Designer responsible for architectural CAD production and document coordination. Working alongside a diverse design team, you will solve problems, coordinate design details, and support project efforts from schematic design through construction documentation. You’ll work in a first-class office environment using cutting‑edge CAD, Revit, and BIM tools, with opportunities to visit client project sites as part of the design process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to independently define / detail architectural concepts and performs limited code review and program analysis.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, ReVit and BIM.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project teams and work on a variety of projects from design through construction administration.
  • Generate and manage the development of architectural design and project drawings.
  • Interface/coordinate architecture and engineering disciplines to develop and execute architectural design concepts.
  • Function as a designer to the extent necessary to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Client interaction and teamwork with other disciplines.
