Stellar Consulting Solutions is looking for a skilled BlueCat DNS Specialist to join our IT infrastructure team in Atlanta, GA. This hybrid position requires the candidate to work 3-4 days a week on-site. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and configuring DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) using BlueCat's platforms. The role primarily focuses on the deployment and migration of on-premises production environments from Active Directory-integrated DNS to BlueCat solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting DNS zones, records, and resolution policies using BlueCat's Address Manager. You will implement DNS security policies, including DNSSEC, and perform necessary DNS zone transfers, updates, and changes as required by business needs. Additionally, you will manage and configure DHCP scopes and options across multiple environments, oversee IP address allocation, and implement IPAM strategies for efficient IP space management. The role also involves developing and maintaining scripts for automating DNS, DHCP, and IPAM tasks using BlueCat's APIs, integrating BlueCat solutions with other network management and monitoring tools, and monitoring the performance and health of DNS and DHCP services. You will generate regular reports on DNS and IP address utilization, ensuring compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards. Furthermore, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM-related issues, maintain comprehensive documentation, and train junior network administrators and other IT staff on BlueCat technologies.
