As the Director of Architecture and Performance Specialist – OEG (Operational Excellence Group (OEG), you will serve as a trusted advisor and individual contributor, leveraging your extensive knowledge of Anaplan architecture and performance to guide customers and partners towards optimal solutions. Your primary focus will be on ensuring customer success, promoting industry best practices, and fostering strong competencies within the Anaplan ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Anaplan.
  • In-depth understanding of Anaplan architecture and established best practices for both the Classic and Polaris calculation engines.
  • Expertise in performance tuning, scalability, and optimization of Anaplan models.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving performance bottlenecks in Anaplan implementations.
  • Strong client-facing skills with a successful track record in engagement management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Four-year advanced College degree equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Promote Adoption: Develop methodologies, best practices, and resources such as blogs, demos, webinars, and training materials to enhance Anaplan adoption.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Continuously author and disseminate best practice insights within the community.
  • Advisory Role: Provide architecture and performance guidance to customers, partners, and internal Anaplan teams.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues within Anaplan models, emphasizing knowledge sharing and empowerment for users.
  • Design Solutions: Architect Anaplan solutions while considering the broader technological context of the customer's environment.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with product management to offer strategic insights on the future direction of Anaplan applications.
  • Pre-sales Support: Assist with pre-sales engagements, ensuring a focus on customer outcomes and enabling solution consultants.
  • Proactive Learning: Stay abreast of innovative technologies applicable to both internal and external environments.
  • Ecosystem Knowledge: Maintain expertise in complementary technologies that enhance the Anaplan ecosystem.
  • Engagement Management: Oversee multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring effective project management.
  • Problem Solving: Simplify complex issues into manageable steps and milestones.
  • Relationship Building: Strengthen relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams to support talent ecosystem enablement.
