About The Position

As an Architectural Team Lead at HFA, you’ll play a critical leadership role at the intersection of people, projects, and clients. You’ll be fully responsible for guiding client teams—overseeing project delivery, mentoring and developing designers and professionals, and ensuring exceptional outcomes for both our clients and our firm. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who enjoys balancing design excellence, financial stewardship, and people development while contributing to the firm’s broader strategic goals. You’ll work closely with Senior Team Leads and Executives to shape team structure, drive profitable and high-quality project delivery, and support business development efforts. Beyond project leadership, you’ll be deeply invested in your team’s growth—setting clear expectations, fostering engagement, modeling HFA’s shared values, and creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and empowered to succeed.   • Education Requirements: Undergraduate or Higher Education Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Fully responsible for leading client teams, which includes projects, programs and people, both within the firm and in its relationship with the client.
  • Responsible for leading Designers and Professionals on a day-to-day basis and sets priorities within their group.
  • Delivers high quality construction documents and project management to client(s).
  • Works with Sr. Team Leads, Executives and other Team Leads to ensure the company is working as a single enterprise.
  • Possess strong financial understanding and be able to work with Sr. Team Lead/Executive to accurately state the financial performance of their client(s).
  • Works with Sr. Team Lead or Executives to determine team structure and talent needs.
  • Participates in Marketing and Business Development in conjunction with Executives or Sr. Team Lead.
