About the position
The Architectural Project Coordinator at Midtown Architects is a full-time role focused on managing architectural projects from inception to completion. The coordinator will work closely with leadership to ensure that projects meet requirements, are completed on time, and stay within budget. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, making it ideal for individuals passionate about architecture and project management.
Responsibilities
- Work through drawings from start to completion
- Communicate with leadership to ensure project requirements are met
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
- Monitor project progress and report on project status to management
- Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts
- Collaborate with other team members, including architects, engineers, and interior designers
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in architectural project coordination
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD LT and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice-to-haves
- Revit and/or 3D experience
