About The Position

Are you a student pursuing your Architecture degree? Are you looking to gain experience in construction design? Are you creative and detail-oriented? Do you solve problems in three dimensions? If the answer is, “Yes!” then we have an opportunity that will impress you! We are looking for a summer intern to join our Architecture team in Richmond, VA for Summer 2026. OneFourTwo Design Group is a full-service design firm. Our team provides services including Creative Design, Project Management, Master Planning, Interior Design, and Structural Analysis and Engineering. As a summer intern, work under the supervision of one or more architects and assist on a variety of tasks including - Assisting in the development of an architectural projects from pre-design phase through construction - Organizing site and space planning information for construction project managers - Researching building codes, local zoning, and park covenants - Preparing of rendering and presentation material - Reviewing and coordinating construction documents content with construction project manager, consultants as it relates to projects

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Architecture degree program

Nice To Haves

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 preferred
• Working knowledge of Revit is preferred but not required
• Experience with CAD, Photoshop or Sketchup is preferred

Responsibilities
