About The Position
RSP is looking for an innovative, thoughtful, and experienced Architectural Intern to join our Fort Worth team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working in a team setting and craves collaboration. We are seeking an Architectural Intern interested in construction document production for structural steel framed, tilt-wall concrete, insulated metal panel and/or commercial masonry buildings. RSP proactively manages clients’ projects and excels at finding efficiencies in program process and construction

- Competency to prioritize effectively and adjust work accordingly to meet deadlines
- Adept at dealing with multiple projects ranging from simple to very complex.
- Experience working in a team environment with a fast-paced process to meet client needs and deadline
- Professional degree in architectural or related field
- 2- 5 years of architectural experience
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of building codes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge in Revit, AutoCad or Microstation a plus
Responsibilities
- Involved with the production and coordination of projects with internal team and consultants
- Interact and communicate effectively and professionally with other team members, clients and external vendors/consultants
- Lead the preparation of plans, drawings, details and specifications in accordance with client standards and specifications
- Provide project team coordination for the finished plans, specification required for construction
- Code analysis and review for projects
- Site observation visits and punch-list reports
- QC review of construction documents
- Coordinate with client vendors, consultants, permit expeditors, general contractors, jurisdictional authorities and inspectors throughout the CD and CA phases of a project
