About The Position

MHTN Architects is seeking paid Architectural Summer Interns to join our innovative and multidisciplinary project teams this summer. These internships are open to applicants who are current students in a bachelor’s or master’s architecture program and are interested in jumpstarting their career. Project opportunities in this role align with Architectural Experience Program (AXP) goals. As an Architectural Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside architects, interior designers, planners, and landscape architects as you contribute to the design process and share your unique perspective. You will participate in design conversations and pin-ups and be tasked with designing layouts and features within commercial projects. This position will aid project teams in the design process and may include developing renderings and physical models and project documentation under the mentorship of various team members. MHTN offers a collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth and advancement. We seek team members who have a passion for designing built environments and self-motivated contributors that will embrace and expand our culture of inclusion. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong interest in learning about and promoting social and environmentally responsible design practices. Requirements

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Current student in a bachelor’s or master’s architecture program

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SketchUp and Revit
  • Proficiency in Lumion or Enscape
  • Familiarity with 3D printer, laser cutter, and basic power tools
