About The Position

Marvin is seeking an Architectural Hotline Representative to join our team of knowledgeable, customer-focused professionals. This role is central to supporting internal and external partners-such as architects, engineers, contractors, homeowners, dealers, and our outside sales team-with expert product assistance and technical support. You'll be on the front lines of communication, addressing a wide range of inquiries through email, phone, and collaborative meetings. These requests may involve pricing, technical specs, product limitations, structural recommendations, and CAD drawings across Marvin's product collections. You'll also collaborate with departments across the company to ensure fast, accurate, and high-quality service. This job is located in Warroad, MN. Requirements

  • Industry accreditation
  • Experience with shop drawings, templates, and structural recommendations
  • Familiarity with LEED, IBC, and field testing processes
  • Ability to influence and support small projects internally and externally
  • Associate degree or 2 years of college, or equivalent technical training
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
  • Knowledge of drafting concepts and 3D visualization
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design and drawing interpretation
  • Understanding of industry documentation (CSI specs, PE-stamped drawings, etc.)
  • High product and pricing knowledge, ideally across Marvin product lines
  • Project management capabilities with an ability to drive custom solutions
  • Ability to multitask

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, order-ready quotes using Marvin's OMS and pricing tools
  • Answer product and technical questions to support quoting and sales
  • Maintain organized quote libraries for easy access and retrieval
  • Review and ensure quote accuracy in relation to requests
  • Recommend structural requirements using analysis spreadsheets
  • Create full-scale shop drawings (elevations, details, and product schedules)
  • Participate in continuous learning, cross-training, and improvement efforts
  • Build strong internal and external relationships to ensure project success
  • Attend trainings to stay up to date on systems (Salesforce, OMS, Siebel, etc.)
  • Manage daily workload and Salesforce cases efficiently
  • Represent Marvin's values and maintain a professional, solution-oriented mindset
