We are dedicated to delivering impactful results to meet mission goals through cutting-edge technology and expertise. We are seeking an Architectural Engineering Analyst to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and effective solutions for our DoD customers within the IC sector. The Architectural Engineering Analyst will provide expertise in research, review, and evaluation of the design, development, construction, alteration, or repair of diplomatic buildings and structures. This position ensures that projects adhere to Department of State (DoS) and Intelligence Community (IC) security standards, while providing critical support for policy development, Congressional certification, and stakeholder collaboration.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12–15 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10–13 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience reviewing project plans, Construction Security Plans, architectural drawings, and technical data to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Practical understanding of secure U.S. Government facility construction, maintenance, and operation in overseas environments.
• In-depth knowledge of architectural and security technical principles, theories, and concepts, and their practical application across programs.
• Expertise in resolving complex problems through significant technical knowledge, reasoning, and interpretation.
• Proven ability to develop innovative solutions through research and integration of best practices.
• Strong communication skills to engage with executive leadership on significant project and organizational matters.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across U.S. Government IC agencies and the Department of State to advocate for best practices and new approaches.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and design documents for large, complex facilities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing construction projects for U.S. diplomatic facilities overseas.
• Expertise in installing or designing secure power systems for IC facilities or U.S. Embassies.
• Familiarity with drafting, reviewing, approving, or implementing DoS or IC Construction Security Plans.
• Working knowledge of DoS construction security policies in the Foreign Affairs Manual (FAM) and Foreign Affairs Handbook (FAH).
• Understanding of ICD 705 requirements.
• Experience working within the Intelligence Community.
• Expertise in red/black power isolation and grounding requirements.
• Familiarity with electric power generation systems, components, electronic controls, fuel systems, and life and safety considerations.
• Relevant certifications in architectural engineering, security systems, or related fields are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, Construction Security Plans, blueprints, architectural drawings, and technical data to ensure compliance with DoS and IC standards.
• Provide advice and guidance to federal leadership on solutions to correct security deficiencies.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders on proposed solutions and design remediations.
• Assist in the preparation of Congressional certification or internal confirmation packages.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) by providing insights into potential technical security vulnerabilities, including electrical power systems and red/black isolation.
• Review and report on Construction Security Plans for compliance with DoS and IC standards.
• Provide written recommendations and consulting advice on policy and standard changes.
• Support the Congressional security certification process for U.S. diplomatic facilities.
• Contribute to drafting policies, best practices, and studies with architectural/engineering input.
