About The Position

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Architectural Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will combine architectural design principles with engineering expertise to develop innovative, functional, and sustainable building solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and engineering
• Professional registration (PE, RA, or both) preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
• Strong understanding of building systems and construction methods
• Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
• Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong project management abilities
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Architecture or Engineering
• LEED AP certification
• Experience with parametric design software
• Knowledge of construction cost estimation
• Familiarity with energy modeling software
• Experience in specific building types (healthcare, education, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural and engineering designs for commercial, residential, or industrial projects
• Create detailed construction drawings and specifications using advanced CAD/BIM software
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure integrated design solutions
• Perform building system analyses and calculations
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards
• Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating energy efficiency and environmental considerations
• Review contractor submittals and RFIs (Requests for Information)
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design compliance
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives
• Prepare and present design proposals and technical documentation
