About The Position

An established organization is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter with 3–5 years of professional experience to support the development of construction documentation. This position is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to collaborate within a team-oriented technical environment. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, technically strong, and experienced in preparing accurate drawings for architectural and/or engineering projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional CAD drafting experience, preferably within architectural or engineering environments
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Solid understanding of construction documentation and detailing practices
• Ability to interpret technical plans and specifications accurately
• High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team setting

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related discipline
• Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes

Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and maintain detailed technical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD required)
• Assist in the production of construction documents for design and engineering projects
• Interpret sketches, redlines, specifications, and markups to generate precise drawings
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and internal project team members to ensure accuracy and alignment
• Ensure all drawings adhere to applicable codes, standards, and internal quality procedures
• Incorporate revisions and updates efficiently throughout various project phases
• Maintain organized digital files and documentation systems
