Early career designer, capable of excelling under the supervision of a Project Architect and/or Project Designer and other team members. Works across market sectors to acquire diverse experience. Adopts project standards to meet performance expectations.  Uses graphic skills for project work, pursuits, model building, competitions, and project documentation as a member of one or more project teams. This role provides opportunities for and expects growth in design and technical skills.

  • Support the delivery of professional services as defined by the HED Design Process guidelines under the supervision of the supervisor, project architect and other team members.
  • Understand the design intent to assist with documentation execution
  • Assist with required code research for project assignments
  • Assist with material and product research as required for project development
  • Participate in internal and/or external project meetings as required by scope and schedule
  • Coordinate with team to provide written documentation as directed
  • Assist with responses to requests for information and submittal reviews under the direction of the project architect or other team members.
  • Participate in technical reviews through all phases of the project to meet HED expectations for quality and project performance
  • Contribute to the development of graphics, 3D visualization and models for project pursuits and competitions
  • Support design work with model building and material collection
  • Other assignments as directed by the project team or supervisor
  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (4-year) degree
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for sustainable design strategies.
  • Level of experience from newly graduated to approximately five years
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Rhino proficiency and experience in BIM software, such as Revit is preferred
  • Very detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible
  • Ability to work well with others under deadline situations

  • Rhino proficiency and experience in BIM software, such as Revit is preferred
