The Role Harris Group is seeking an Architectural Designer in the Lynnwood, WA area who thrives on turning complex industrial needs into smart, buildable designs. They will apply their passion for problem-solving and expertise with Revit and AutoCAD to create detailed architectural drawings that drive progress. They will play a key role in developing construction documents and supporting design efforts for medium to heavy industrial projects, production laboratories, manufacturing facilities, and similar building types. Requirements

  • Associate degree or technology certificate, and minimum of 3+ years of architectural design or detailing experience.
  • Three (3) years of Revit and AutoCAD experience producing architectural design and construction documents.
  • Work independently and collaboratively exhibiting good judgment with strong client focus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Produce thoughtful and detailed architectural drawings and documentation.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to translate design concepts into precise construction documents.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize and improve work by developing innovative and practical design solutions.
  • Prepare and present design concepts and progress updates to senior architects and stakeholders.
  • Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into drawings.
  • Stay up to date with changes in building codes, regulations, and industry trends, to ensure project compliance.
  • Identify, interpret and apply relevant codes and standards to industrial-, laboratory-, office-, and hazardous- occupancies. Prepare code analysis deliverables.
  • Travel to off-site location and/or accept client site assignments when required.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience, skills, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
