About The Position

We are seeking an Architectural Designer with 3-10 years of experience to support SD, DD, and CD for commercial projects. This person should have a knowledge of the design process, construction documentation and construction administration, and have a strong knowledge of material, detailing, and systems coordination. Candidates should have experience working on commercial ground up projects. They are a small firm that focuses on PK-12 schools, master plans, and commercial projects. They primarily like to focus on work that serves the community.

Requirements

  • NAAB Accredited Architecture Degree (B.Arch or M.Arch)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Architect/Designer in a firm
  • Strong knowledge of the design process, construction documentation and construction administration
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial construction, zoning and building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems
  • Strong knowledge of material, detailing, and systems coordination
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Revit
  • Competence with AutoCAD, Sketchup
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Hand drawing skills, Lumion and BIM experience and AutoCAD experience is a plus
  • Experience or interest in supporting marketing (RFP, RFQ, presentations, etc.) efforts is a plus
