Be our next Architectural Designer Your work environment at EXP In this role, you will be a an integral part of delivering and managing Guam and Pacific Island projects. What a day at EXP has in store for you Prepare construction documents in coordination with multi-discipline project team of architects and engineers. Coordinate project requirements and development of construction documents with subconsultants. Meet with product vendors to review specific products to be incorporated into the projects. Perform code reviews and meet independently with local code officials to review and determine specific local code requirements and project compliance. Perform bid phase and construction phase tasks including site visits, review of shop drawings, responding to requests for information, and issuing clarifications. Lead the development of design alternatives using a variety of media, including computer visualization, and physical models. Work in coordination with and oversight of the Principal Architect Lead the development of presentation documents and make design presentations to Clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited University
  • Working towards Architectural License in Guam or ability to receive license
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with the tasks identified above
  • Track record of exceptional performance
  • Experience in a variety of project market sectors, including Commercial or Federal
  • Thorough working understanding of the Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit capabilities
  • Ability to utilize financial management software
  • Ability for occasional travel
