Dewberry's Architecture Team is seeking a dynamic Architectural Designer with well-rounded experience to join our Orlando, FL office. Experience in Federal, State, Local Governments, Community Facilities, Civic and Justice building types is desirable. Requirements

  • Professional Architecture degree from an accredited University is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Intern Development Program (IDP) process underway with goal of licensure.
  • Competent in Revit (BIM), SketchUp and other software modeling programs.
  • Skilled in Creative Adobe Suite applications Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Knowledge of local code requirements and ability to efficiently interface with agencies having jurisdiction, including Fire Marshall, and other code reviewers.
  • A design portfolio demonstrating experience will be required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed design documents from conceptual design through construction documents.
  • Perform code analysis.
  • Contribute to project managers in conceptual input on assigned projects.
  • Assist with specifications development by performing material, product selection and research.
  • Coordinating with internal and external engineers and consultants.
