About The Position

Architectural Designer II Are you looking for an exciting opportunity at a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative company? We are seeking an Architectural Designer II to join our world‑class Property team. This role plays a vital part in shaping complex architectural projects, bringing technical expertise and design insight to every phase—from early investigation through coordinated execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture
  • At least 6 years of related experience
  • Fully competent in all conventional aspects of architecture
  • Excellent coordination, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated design project skills, techniques, and terminology
  • Demonstrated record of design project accomplishments
  • Basic level of business acumen related to budgets, expense planning, resource allocation, and forecasting
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • Background check results satisfactory to SEL
  • Negative drug test result(s)

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of a Registered Architect, responsible for specific technical design aspects of assigned architectural projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meets the client’s needs.
  • Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.
  • Work under minimal supervision to establish project plans, and execute and coordinate multiple projects, some crossing different functions/disciplines.
  • May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects.
  • Coordinate the activities of multiple divisions/departments as necessary to meet project objectives. Contribute in consensus decisions among project stakeholders and team members.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor accurate metrics, project files, and project tracking reports such as time reporting, financial records, schedules, budgets, and summary spreadsheets. Own accurate assessment and analysis of project deliverables to assist the team with meeting project objectives such as cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
