About The Position

Our niche in the retail and automotive services sector presents a compelling opportunity for the ideal candidate to join a dynamic team and participate in all phases of project development, from inception to completion, primarily on a prototypical program basis. Your overall understanding of the design and construction processes, coupled with your collaborative spirit, will drive innovation and efficiency within our multi-disciplinary team environment.
The role requires the individual to be in the Northwest Arkansas region, in a hybrid setting in our Bentonville studio, for in-person collaboration and project facilitation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of construction document experience, ideally within the retail or automotive services sector
• Strong Revit skills
• Equivalent of a Bachelors degree in Architecture

Responsibilities

• Designer will use 2D and 3D software to assist the Design Team in the development of designs and drafting construction documents in support of clients' building program
• Designer should utilize education and experience to independently tackle challenges as they arise on projects with the support of Design Team lead.
• Designer shall gain experience evaluating client requirements, building code, and zoning regulations to develop design recommendations.
• Provide technical design planning and coordination in a collaborative and multi-disciplined environment
• Produce accurate construction documents detailing the clients vision and goals
• Conduct building code analysis and research regulatory requirements to determine design constraints
• Develop design options and alternates
• Coordinate building components and systems with other disciplines to develop construction documents based on the clients requirements
• Designer shall perform quality control of their own work prior to giving to the Architect of Record for signing and sealing
• Depending on needs of client and team, Designer could have direct contact with client on a regular basis
