About The Position

The Architectural Designer Graduate position is an exciting opportunity to join PM Group’s quickly growing Boston area team out of Burlington, MA. Together we will all be sharing knowledge, learning, growing, and continuing to be an integral part of supporting PM Group’s ongoing expansion in the US. Our office will be executing cutting-edge projects for Cell & Gene Therapy, Biologics, and other Life Science facilities – from feasibility through to construction – for both local and international clients. Together with our clients and partners, we will deliver projects that improve the everyday lives of people across the globe. This is an entry-level career position and we are looking for an Architectural graduate who is passionate about design. This individual needs to have a basic understanding of the technical aspects of architectural design and a desire to learn the nuances of the Life Sciences industry. The ability to successfully handle multiple real-time complex project and operational tasks as well as maintain a strong work ethic and drive to deliver for clients as a collaborative colleague are a must for this role. The Graduate Architectural Designer will be mentored by senior Architects and will assist with the development of design documents. Expect project work to include all levels of design: feasibility studies, conceptual & schematic design, construction documentation, and construction administration. Project sizes will vary and will consist primarily of life science industry projects ranging from existing building improvements and to large new greenfield facilities. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent spatial awareness
  • Ability to work in a vibrant multi discipline 3D design environment
  • Familiar with 3D design software (Revit experience is a plus)
  • Strong work ethic
  • Able to manage time efficiently to achieve project goals

Responsibilities

  • Coordination with other PM Group offices to clearly understand scope of work, deliverables, schedule time lines, hour management, etc.
  • Work with and be competent with a selection of software including, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketchup, etc.
  • Work with senior Architects to assist in producing designs though all stages, in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications and procedures.
