About The Position

This position will support the Whataburger Design Team as a summer intern and gain hands-on experience working on current and future Whataburger design projects. You'll support internal project teams with design presentations, BIM modeling & rendering, construction document reviews; while participating in coordination meetings and professional development sessions. Ideal candidates are architecture students with strong Revit, SketchUp, Rendering, Adobe skills, attention to detail, and an interest in retail design.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in College and have completed a minimum of 80 hours towards an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
• 0 - 3 months experience.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships.
• Demonstrates the ability to work in a creative team environment.
• Proficiency in 3-D modeling using such software as Sketchup and Revit.
• Proficiency in Rendering using such software as Enscape.
• Proficiency in Adobe Software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Proficiency in data entry and MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Elementary knowledge of practices and procedures in a particular field of specialization in the execution of assigned duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to contribute to Real Estate prototype support.
• Analyzes and helps to model potential design options for new and existing prototypes.
• Contributes to the coordination for the maintenance of various bridge sets and Whataburger design standards through third party consultants.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
