Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture or related design field from a NAAB-accredited program.
  • For licensed Architects: A valid architectural license in applicable state(s).
  • For unlicensed professionals: Active pursuit of licensure and strong portfolio required.
  • 5+ years of experience on diverse architectural projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design software.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, documentation standards, and interdisciplinary coordination.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in sectors such as aviation, civic, commercial, tribal, mission critical, or federal work is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the design and documentation of a variety of project types including aviation, education, civic, tribal, commercial, and federal facilities.
  • Produce drawings, specifications, diagrams, 3D models, and reports that align with project goals.
  • Apply building codes, ADA, and zoning regulations to develop functional, compliant design solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and team coordination efforts.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and internal team members to deliver integrated project outcomes.
  • Support QA/QC efforts and construction administration activities, including submittal reviews and site observations.
  • Lead portions of project documentation and guide junior staff in design development.
