Responsibilities

  • Prepare and participate in production support throughout all project phases, including development of design concepts into construction documents.
  • Coordinate with project consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Demonstrate a strong background in commercial drawings and understand how a building is put together.
  • Creatively solve design issues as they arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct occasional travel and site visits for projects, which may require travel in and out of the state.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or a related field.
  • 3+ years of architecture experience.
  • Interest in or has started NCARB's Intern Development Program.
  • CSI & IIBEC certifications desired.
  • Strong background in commercial drawings and understanding of building assembly.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent verbal, graphic, and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively with staff and clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with additional architectural software tools.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role on projects.
