ERG is seeking an experienced Architect to lead the design and delivery for renovations and upgrades to existing buildings. This is a fulltime onsite position at the Naval Support Facility (NSF) Indian Head. Indian Head, MD, is approximately 30 miles from Washington, DC, 25 miles from Alexandria, VA, and 60 miles from Fredericksburg, VA. Job Description: Manage all phases of architectural projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction Work with management, engineers, designers, contractors, and vendors to coordinate project plans and schedules Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to deliver integrated design solutions Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and quality review Support modernizing facilities in compliance with local, state, and federal codes Complete and facilitate Stage Gate design reviews to ensure alignment on project scope, progress, and deliverables

  • Manage all phases of architectural projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction
  • Work with management, engineers, designers, contractors, and vendors to coordinate project plans and schedules
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and quality review
  • Support modernizing facilities in compliance with local, state, and federal codes
  • Complete and facilitate Stage Gate design reviews to ensure alignment on project scope, progress, and deliverables
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • 7+ years of experience in architecture, with at least 3 years in a project management role
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, or strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and apply project scheduling and management tools
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred
