About The Position
An award-winning architecture practice in New York City is seeking an Architect / Designer II to join their collaborative and socially focused team. The studio is known for sustainable, community-driven design and offers an inspiring environment in the heart of New York City , with strong opportunities for growth and involvement in meaningful architectural work. This opportunity would be ideal for an Architect or Architectural Designer with strong experience across educational, cultural, mixed-use, or healthcare projects, confident using Revit. The role also includes exposure to Business Development , expanding a Client Network , and participating in important project Meetings .
Requirements
- Background in educational, cultural, mixed-use, or healthcare design
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Strong technical and analytical ability, including NYC zoning and building code knowledge
- Experience producing construction documentation and detailed technical drawings
- Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with other 3D tools and Adobe Suite
Responsibilities
- Participate in all design and construction administration stages.
- Develop design options and presentation materials.
- Produce technical drawings, BIM models, and documentation.
- Create detailed interior and exterior architectural details.
- Coordinate drawings and cross-disciplinary information.
- Support zoning, building code, and analytical tasks, including involvement in Business Development
