The Architect is responsible for engaging stakeholders and customers, providing technical and functional expertise to oversee and coordinate a portfolio of technical solutions. This role involves developing, maintaining, and communicating processes related to the design, development, and implementation of solutions across various projects. The Architect ensures that solutions meet business needs and architecturally significant requirements, collaborates with business to define technology roadmaps, and educates outside partners on approved technical solutions.

  • Develop and maintain processes related to high-level design and implementation of solutions.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and architecturally significant requirements.
  • Collaborate with business relationship managers to understand business requirements and identify solution gaps.
  • Research market options and approve Make vs Buy decisions to meet business requirements.
  • Document high-level design of solutions and define implementation efforts.
  • Conduct application scans and risk reviews to validate compliance with privacy and security policies.
  • Examine current systems architecture and recommend effective solutions.
  • Guide leveraging technology to solve business problems.
  • Knowledge of BY/JDA Warehouse Management System.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile/Scrum).
  • Experience with Blue Yonder/JDA technologies including MOCA, Report Writer, Jasper, Java, C+, .NET.
  • Proficiency in SQL (Oracle or SQL Server) and version control (SVN).
  • Understanding of infrastructure technologies including cloud computing (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
  • Expertise in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Big Data Analytics.
  • Undergraduate degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience or Graduate degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Data Architecture & Modeling.
