About The Position
Engineering firm looking to add Architect/Project Manager with Commercial/Industrial experience to their team!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- 8+ years of commercial architecture
- Knowledgeable in code/materials and methods commonly used in the industrial, manufacturing, and distribution center projects
- Experience with specification writing
- Construction administration experience
- Valid Driver’s License is required
Responsibilities
- Outline project approach and assist with developing fees for project proposals
- Lead programming efforts with a focus on customer service
- Lead architecture design while working with internal design teams to develop innovative/functional designs
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Identify potential risks and look for alternative strategies to mitigate them
- Ensure projects comply with local building codes and zoning regulations
- Incorporate best practices
- Handle construction administration, contractor questions, and RFI responses
- Develop construction documents/specifications for commercial projects (industrial, warehouse, data center or distribution center projects)
- Work directly with the client providing timely updates on project status and discussing project scope
- Coordinate with internal teams, including project planning, scheduling, and tracking
