About The Position

The Application Architect will collaborate with the business teams, other cross functional technical teams and vendors to deliver the best solution within Sterling DOM and add-on Microservices. As part of the OMS Application Architecture team, you will be responsible of ensuring the successful design encompassing the needs of E2E systems, implementation and support of the Sterling DOM solution, documenting and delivering best practices through design, implementation strategy and solution architecture practices. Ensure quality and relevance of business requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications. Author and review Sterling DOM technical design documents ensuring high quality deliverables across application teams. Provide operation support and oversight for application performance and stability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of Sterling DOM experience.
  • 8+ years of experience developing/designing enterprise applications
  • Experience in Configuration and Customization of Sterling OMS
  • Experience in working with Sterling Store Engagement and Next gen Call center modules
  • Experience in working with cross functional IT teams and Business partners in defining overall E2E solution
  • Solid experience with Java, J2EE, Spring frameworks.

Nice To Haves

  • Microservice Development and Sterling integration with Microservices is an added plus
  • Experience with JS frameworks like JQuery, Angular is plus
  • Experience of Cognos is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design & Infrastructure Provide expertise and design solutions utilizing Sterling DOM, Inventory visibility and Stores Engagement
  • Author and review high level and detailed technical design documents for multiple Projects / Product team(s).
  • Analyze and compare vendors and tools to determine the right fit for the organization as needed.
  • Implementation best in class solution architecture practices, infrastructure improvements, enterprise integrations.
  • Collaborate with the business to ensure relevance Project Implementation, Support
  • Participate as an active team member in daily scrums as part of our agile software development methodology. This includes joining sprint planning meetings and estimating work effort etc.
  • Provide guidance and mentor teams by reviewing technical approaches, ensure high quality implementation/code quality for the development teams and leads
  • Provide operation support and oversight for Sterling DOM application performance and stability.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
