About The Position

As a Gensler Architect, your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge to help guide our clients. You have developed communication and team-building skills which have prepared you to manage projects. In this role, you will have opportunities to develop your existing strengths in design and technical coordination while also beginning to directly manage client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture
  • Licensed Architect required
  • 3-5 years of related project experience in design and implementation
  • Strong Proficiency in Revit is required
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirements
  • Proficient in public-speaking, and in moderating large teams of consultants, contractors, and clients
  • Well-rounded, strategic thinker with an integrated approach to design, management and technical project resolution who can help shape a vision for the future.
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with other key constituents
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Collaborative, proactive mindset with a passion for mentorship, team growth, and innovation.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to the evolving culture of Gensler PX—where sustainability, equity, and design excellence are at the core of everything we do.

Nice To Haves

  • LEED accreditation and experience preferred
  • Experience with Rhino, SketchUp, 3D Max, and Enscape is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production
  • Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall program and project objectives
  • Travel to project sites for due diligence and meetings with stakeholders
  • Produce graphic presentations, rendered plans, 3D rendered imagery, and construction drawings
  • Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts and iterative design solutions along with the ability to iterate in Revit
