Our suite of specialty analyses helps solve complex design challenges, improves constructability, maximizes energy efficiency, and increases security. We offer a range of services for the full building life cycle with the goal of helping clients execute ambitious architectural visions. Our consulting services include materials research, specialty analyses, detailed design, engineering and construction support, and glass and façade failure investigations. In the technology-driven cladding industry, innovation comes with the territory. Nearly two-thirds of the facades we design and engineer are based on customized systems that involved unique combinations of materials. The Role We have an opportunity for an Architect Intern to join our Façade Practice in Denver during the summer of 2026.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate student with a concentration in engineering or architecture.
  • Excellent academic record.
  • Interest in technical aspects of architectural design.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in Revit, Rhino/grasshopper.
  • Experience in Strand and/or Therm are helpful but not required.
  • Highly motivated and open to new challenges and proactive, eager-to-learn attitude.
  • A sharp eye for detail combined with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Capable of working independently with check-ins from team lead.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the facade team to design, analyze, and develop exterior wall assemblies for both vision and opaque assemblies.
  • Material and product research for facade systems such as stone, terracotta, metal panel, glazing systems, waterproofing and similar.
  • Develop diagrams using 2D and 3D drawings to convey technical solutions for facades.
  • Coordination of design work with in-house staff and other design Architecture and Engineering disciplines.
  • Preparation of sketches and technical drawings in a clear and consistent visual style.
  • Preparation of construction documents using Revit.
  • Develop facade components and help maintain BIM library.
  • Preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Work closely with project manager or team leader on all technical aspects related to the projects.
  • Work on defined task under supervision with autonomy.
