Architect II

As an Architect II, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of architectural deliverables. This includes assessing and optimizing system designs and reviewing user requirements to ensure that our solutions are technically and operationally feasible. You will be responsible for developing prototypes of system designs and collaborating with various IT areas, including database, operations, and technical support, throughout the development and implementation processes. In this position, you may lead multiple projects with competing deadlines, serving as a fully seasoned and proficient technical resource. While you will not have direct reports, you will influence and direct the activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations, and you will also mentor junior Architects. Your input will be valuable in staffing, budgeting, and personnel decisions. Typically, candidates for this role will have 7 or more years of architecture experience. The role also involves the development and oversight of model governance for the GIZMO Architecture and Intelligence platform. You will manage model governance while developing various models, including business process models using BPMN notation and architectural models that span both business and systems architecture, utilizing a mix of ArchiMate and UML notation. In addition to modeling responsibilities, you will contribute to coding enhancements on our core platform by leveraging the platform's API and object model. Collaboration with GIZMO's data analysis and modeling teams will be essential to ensure seamless integration of database information into model object format tables on our platform, utilizing the Pro Cloud Server OSLC API and scripting with languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, or Visual Basic.
