About The Position

The Enterprise Solution Architect is a key component of the FNTS sales team and engages clients to develop infrastructure solutions based on their technical and business requirements. They will collaborate with FNTS service delivery architects, sales and the FNTS ecosystem to present solution recommendations, develop design and implementation approaches and competitive pricing models. Additionally, working with the sales, brand leadership, and FNTS Service Delivery, the Solution Architect will provide guidance to the firm regarding competitive positioning, market direction and lead positioning new product and/or architecture deployment capabilities.

Requirements

  • College degree (Associate’s-level or higher) required
  • Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, including experience with Visio / Lucid Charts and CRM systems
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills in working with customers
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience of architect and/or sales engineer experience required
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of mainframe and the various architecture components associated with the platform
  • Understanding of cloud, IaaS, PaaS, network design, systems design, hardware and software specifications, network connectivity
  • Ability to lead customer meetings, design sessions, and present solution design concepts
  • Experience / Knowledge of Managed Services, Cloud Services, Mainframe, and IBM Power Systems

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a technical infrastructure discipline preferred
  • IBM Mainframe and Power Systems Experience preferred
  • Understanding of products offered by FNTS preferred
  • Readiness to travel a minimum of 25% for client meetings

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the extended FNTS team and ecosystem to develop infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements
  • Work with the FNTS sales team on solution pricing
  • Provide leadership to the organization regarding improvement of the current product offerings and new offering development
  • Consult with sales executives and brand leadership to develop strategies and plans for key accounts
  • Understand the client technical organization and identify key contacts within strategic accounts and develop and maintain relationships
  • Ability to learn and become a subject matter expert on assigned FNTS products, FNTS solutions, partner products and partner solutions
  • Create quality deliverables to ensure the proposed solution or design is accurate and compelling
  • Complete sales certification and accreditations for major partners and resellers
