About The Position

The Archery Technician Outfitter is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support related to archery equipment. This role involves greeting customers, troubleshooting and tuning archery gear, and assisting with product assembly and installation. The technician ensures a safe and pleasant shopping experience while maintaining product integrity and inventory accuracy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience with bow setup and archery equipment.
• Ability to perform bow assembly and accessory installation.
• Knowledge of arrow setup including length, spine, and insert installation.
• Ability to operate various equipment and tools including a bow press and chop saw.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and tune all archery equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Install accessory items on bows and demonstrate products to customers.
• Answer specific technical questions to assist customers in understanding their equipment.
• Continue technical training to improve proficiency and product knowledge.
• Maintain pricing and UPC integrity, ensuring accurate inventory and product displays.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by evaluating their needs and making product recommendations.
• Replenish products on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
• Keep work area organized, clean, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
