About The Position
AECOM is seeking multiple, on-call Archaeological Technicians to join our Cultural Services team. This remote based role will ideally be based in Colorado, Ohio, Kansas, Wisconsin, Minnesota or Michigan, but can be based within the U.S., as travel will be required. The Archaeology Technicians will support fieldwork on projects throughout the Midwest with opportunities for travel throughout the U.S. Our current projects are primarily mobilizing to Missouri and Kansas. This is an immediate opportunity. AECOM will be hiring in over the next few weeks to fill these roles. The Archaeological Technician primarily performs fieldwork under the supervision of a Crew Chief, Field Director and/or Principal Investigator. This is a part-time position, meaning workdays and times will be determined on an as-needed basis. Field projects will likely be located in the Midwestern and Eastern U.S., with immediate need for field staff on project assignments in Michigan, Illinois, Missouri and Kansas. Candidates will need flexibility to travel overnight and out of state for up to 3+ months at a time. Lodging (single occupancy) and per diem will be provided.
