As an intern, you’ll work alongside our experienced practitioners and with our clients and communities. This hands-on experience will equip you with practical skills, build your network, and provide opportunities that set you up for success. Your Opportunity An opportunity exists for a highly motivated, personable, and organized undergraduate student majoring in Archaeology or Anthropology or a related major. As an emerging professional, you will be working with a multi-disciplinary team in the office and at project site locations throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Main responsibilities include shadowing or assisting field staff with a variety of archaeological investigations and associated tasks. This position will be based out of our Richmond, Virginia, office and will require overnight travel and working at remote field sites. You will work directly with Stantec’s archaeologists, field team leads, and technicians, in addition to being assigned a mentor who will work one-on-one with you. This position will be a maximum of 40 hours a week.
