About The Position

Grand Central Bowl and Arcade is a high-energy, guest-focused entertainment venue featuring a mix of modern and classic arcade games. We pride ourselves on creating a fun, safe experience for every guest—and we’re looking for a part-time Arcade Technician to help keep the good times rolling. Position Overview: The Arcade Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing arcade games and related equipment to ensure they’re operating safely and consistently for our guests. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, light technical work, and fast-paced environments.

Requirements

Experience with arcade equipment, electronics, or basic mechanical repair preferred but not required—willing to train the right candidate.
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with hands-on technical tasks.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working around flashing lights, sounds, and active guest areas.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on arcade games and attractions.
Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, mechanical, and software issues.
Assist with game resets, ticket/e-ticket systems, and machine calibration.
Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and machine performance.
Communicate equipment issues clearly to management and recommend solutions.
Ensure the arcade floor remains clean, organized, and safe for guests.
Provide friendly, helpful guest service when needed.
