About The Position

Located at Town Square Mall, Velocity Esports is a cutting-edge esports and entertainment platform with a focus on bringing you next level entertainment experiences. We offer a premier esports lounge, arcade games, bowling, billiards & a full service restaurant & bar, along with live tournaments and other in person entertainment features. Whether competing in a tournament or enjoying elevated casual dining, craft beverages and arcade games in person at one of our venues, our commitment is to deliver "Next Level Gaming, Next Level Fun" to our guests. Game techs are responsible for keeping games and/or equipment up and running. Techs also create a positive Guest experiences by being available to answer questions when on the game floor. Daily Tasks: Taking pride to ensure maintenance of our game room - games and the various equipment; including but not limited to game troubleshooting, ticket installation and overall preventative maintenance of all equipment Follow our preventative maintenance schedule to ensure that all games are clean and functional Help install new games or decommission them Respond to guest calls when games need troubleshooting Demonstrate a "safety" mindset by addressing any potential hazard appropriately and timely and always following safety protocols in the repair of games/equipment Exhibiting teamwork by consistently working alongside of fellow staff members Musts:

Requirements

  • Previous game repair experience preferred
  • Excellent oral communication skills required
  • Positive interpersonal skills
  • Must speak English fluently and be able to write basic English
  • Excellent math skills: ability to process technical requirements for game repair
  • General Arcade Activities - Walking, Talking, Sitting, Standing, Typing, Lifting, Bending, Stooping and carrying up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to provide authorization to work in the US - we use E-verify.

Responsibilities
