About The Position

The Arcade Technician at Big Al's is responsible for ensuring that all arcade games are functioning properly and providing an enjoyable experience for guests. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining arcade games and other facility equipment, while adhering to safety and maintenance protocols. The technician will also interact with guests and staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of electronic components and multimeter functions.
• Ability to operate various types of manual and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read, analyze, and adhere to safety manuals, technical procedures, and wiring and circuit schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collect data and draw reasonable conclusions.
• Exceptional shift coordination skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Effective communication skills in face-to-face, group, telephone, and written formats.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain arcade games and facility equipment.
• Adjust arcade games for proper ticket payout.
• Diagnose problems on arcade games; order, replace, and/or repair parts.
• Establish and maintain parts inventory for arcade games.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report issues to the Facility Manager.
• Operate power and manual tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedule for machines, including cleaning and cosmetic repair.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Operate POS equipment, servers, and computers.
• Professionally interact with vendors, guests, and staff members.
• Ensure satisfactory maintenance and appearance of assigned facilities to comply with security, safety, and environmental codes.
• Enforce compliance with all local, state, federal regulations, and company policy.
• Participate in cleaning duties such as sweeping, wiping down equipment, and mopping as needed.
