A job as a Ryan Tree Pruner you will work with fellow associates to create a healthy urban forest one client at a time. Our Tree Pruners are individuals trained in the art and science of maintaining and caring for trees and shrubs, as well as improving their health.

Requirements

Forestry, or related fields is a plus, as is industry experience.
Good physical ability
Respect of safety/heights
Be a team player
Ability to to work in all weather conditions
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to push and pull objects while walking 3 miles a day or more
Ability to climb and work aloft
Ability to obtain DOT certification
Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

Forestry, or related fields is a plus, as is industry experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in completing pruning work on client properties. Including but not limited to, Tree Pruning, Tree Removal, Shrub pruning, Mulch installation, and Stump grinding.
Work in a team environment as well as efficiently on your own
Operate small engine equipment: chain saws, shears, string trimmer, etc.
Communicate with clients regarding process and expectations of services needed and performed.
