About The Position
As a Ground person at Lewis Tree Service, you will be part of a tight-knit crew working in a team environment. You will participate in an innovative climbing skills training program and perform line clearing and tree trimming duties for utility customers. This includes pruning trees and limbs, trimming or removing trees, and removing broken limbs from wires and roofs. You will also be responsible for preparing, operating, and maintaining all tools and equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts. Your role will involve safeguarding employees and the public from hazards in and around the working area and helping enforce on-the-job safety practices.
