About The Position

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is offering exciting internship opportunities in historic Nauvoo, IL, starting in April. This internship will work alongside our professional Arborist in caring for trees at the Nauvoo Historic Sites. Under the guidance of our experienced Arborist, this position will engage in hands-on tasks aimed at preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of these sacred locations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to be immersed in the daily work of an Arborist while contributing to the stewardship of these beautiful historic sites. No prior arboriculture experience is necessary. We are looking for an intern with a desire to apply themselves diligently and be dedicated to this unique and sacred work. This is a 4-6-month internship located in Nauvoo, IL. Housing is included. Church employees find joy and satisfaction in using their unique talents and abilities to further the Lord’s work.
