Seeking Arabic Language Specialist candidates with relevant Education, And Academia Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Education, And Academia Sector Clients such as ARMY. JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support as a Language and Culture Services Support (Arabic Language Specialist) in the Education, And Academia Industry Sector focussing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as Department of Army (Army) | Mission & Installation Contacting Command -Fort Liberty Generally Located In Fort Liberty - North Carolina 28309 and across the Mid Atlantic Region.

Requirements

  • Native or nearnative fluency in Arabic.
  • Knowledge of military terminology and applications in Arabic.
  • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Education, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience teaching Arabic, preferably in military or adult education context
  • Fluency in Arabic, with an understanding of dialectical variations.
  • Proficiency in military and cultural terminology in Arabic.
  • Ability to create effective lesson plans for diverse learners.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking in an educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage learners.
  • Leadership and adaptability in a diverse classroom environment
  • Must be comfortable teaching in an immersive and technologically supported environment.
  • Travel may be required for onsite instruction at military bases
  • In compliance with national standards, the role requires constant professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest methodologies and best practices in language instruction.
  • The ability to work within a variety of teaching environments, including in-person, online, and hybrid settings.

  • Develop tailored instructional materials to enhance language proficiency.
  • Provide assessments and feedback on service members' progress via DLPT and other tools.
  • Incorporate cultural education into language sessions.
