About The Position

The Arabic Instructor position at Berlitz Languages involves teaching Arabic in a face-to-face setting, primarily to adult learners. The role requires a strong command of the Arabic language and the ability to integrate technology into lessons. The instructor will work closely with an Academic Specialist to evaluate lessons and improve teaching skills, ensuring that student goals are met. This part-time role is set to begin in January 2025.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Teaching experience is required.
• Ability to speak English and Spanish fluently.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Basic administrative skills and computer knowledge to deliver lessons and maintain student records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in-person in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles, focusing on the goals, needs, and interests of students.
• Meet with Academic Specialist regularly to participate in lesson evaluation and coaching plans to strengthen teaching skills and ensure SMART goals are met.
• Keep student pedagogical and attendance records up to date.
• Integrate learning technology into teaching programs and maintain shared teaching resource materials.
• Perform duties as deemed fit for proper execution and delegated by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist.

Benefits
