About The Position

APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Work with a team developing spatial computing apps and experiences for the Apple Vision Pro. Build the Mindfulness app for the device, as well as future initiatives. Write application code using Swift, Reality Kit, and ARKit to improve foundational-level app architecture and frameworks. Collaborate with cross functional teams including clinical, human-interface design, internal frameworks (ARKit & Reality Kit) to aid ideation and technical feasibility. Conduct rapid experimentation and prototype ideas getting regular feedback from various cross-functional partners and iterating to make the app experience more relevant and intuitive for our end users. Conduct demo sessions for the executive team and gather actional feedback. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,240 - $210,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer and Information Technology, or a related field and 6 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Experience and/or education must include: Using object-oriented languages for user experience including C++/Java/C#
• Using multi-threaded application architecture including GCD/Actors to build performant and stable user applications
• Debugging memory and threading issues that could arise in application development using tools including Visual Studio, Xcode memory and concurrency tools
• Building 3D applications using ECS systems including Reality Kit or Unity
• Maintaining code coverage through new unit testing of new features and extension of existing unit tests through frameworks including XCTest, MSTest, GMock, or JUnit
• Tracking down experience regressions from code changes introduced outside of the user’s codebase effectively and efficiently using development framework plus source control including Git/Perforce
• Optimizing power, performance, quality and usability simultaneously using a combination of telemetry and tooling as part of CI/CD suite
