About The Position
Cobalt Truck Equipment is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our team at our Nampa, ID location. The AR Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reconciliation. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in accounts receivable management and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. In this role, the AR Specialist will generate and send accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary documentation is included. They will monitor accounts receivable aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and initiate collection efforts as needed. Effective communication with customers regarding their accounts is crucial, as the AR Specialist will address any discrepancies or issues while providing exceptional customer service. Regular reconciliations of customer accounts will be performed to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. The AR Specialist will also prepare and maintain accounts receivable reports, including aging reports, and provide regular updates to management. Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve accounts receivable processes will be part of the role, contributing to the development of best practices. Collaboration with the sales, finance, and customer service teams is essential to ensure accurate billing and resolve any billing-related issues. Maintaining accurate and organized records of all accounts receivable activities and communications is a key responsibility.
